Standardization work is paid great attention to in the process of constructing modern fishery. In this background, the issue of standard applicability, which is a basic issue of standardization, was discussed in this paper.. The present situation and causes of the problem was analyzed from several aspects, and improving measures was put forward under the framework of national existing standardization laws, regulations and standard management system.
